Aluminium – Sheets, tubes and profiles

Aluminium is one of the most commonly used metal materials in industry, combining light weight, good mechanical strength, excellent machinability and high corrosion resistance. Due to these properties, aluminium is widely used in mechanical engineering, the metal industry, construction, the transport industry and in the manufacture of various technical components.

Aluminium has a density of about 2.7 g/cm³, which means it is about three times lighter than steel, making it possible to build lightweight but strong structures. A protective oxide layer forms naturally on the surface of aluminium, effectively protecting the material from corrosion, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.

Aluminium sheet

Aluminium sheet is suitable for cutting, bending, welding and machining and is used in many industrial applications.

Aluminium solid profiles

Aluminium solid profiles or round bars are well suited for CNC machining, turning, milling and the manufacture of mechanical and structural parts.

• AlMgSi0,5 – EN AW-6060

• AlCuMgPb – EN AW-2007 T4

• AlMgSi1 – EN AW-6082 T6

These alloys provide good machinability, mechanical strength and stability in industrial applications.
